UDI research proactively analyzes the policy issues which affect the development industry, particularly at the provincial and municipal levels.  Members are kept informed of changes as they happen and have access to copies of event presentations, municipal liaison updates, research, contact resources, member rosters and more.

Our dedication to social housing, labour issues, environmentally responsible development and other programs gives us an opportunity to make a sizeable contribution to our communities.  Members have the opportunity to sit on municipal liaison committees as well as numerous steering and ad hoc committees.

Professional Development Opportunities:

UDI’s Professional Development programs keep members current on the policies, trends and future directions of the development industry.  Members attend at a special member rate.

Government Liaison:

UDI members have long held strong relationships with municipal and provincial governments.  This is your opportunity to work with key decision makers in your community through our Municipal Liaison Committees and professional development programs.

Partnerships + Networking Opportunities:

 Work directly with professionals from other organizations and universities to assist with solutions to current challenges facing the industry, curriculum development and the delivery of real estate programs.
