Mayor Walter Gray wants to debunk the myth Kelowna is unaffordable. “I don’t want to say Kelowna is average because it’s clearly way above average as a place to live, but when it comes to affordability Kelowna is average in Canada,” Gray told an Urban Development Institute lunch crowd Thursday at the Coast Capri Hotel.

While a healthy economy (read balanced real estate market) is undeniably still a priority, sustainability itself requires balance.
